COOKIE POLICY

Depending on the entity that manages the domain from which the cookies are sent and processes the data obtained, two types can be distinguished:

• First-party cookies: Sent to the user’s device from a domain managed by the website owner and from which the requested service is provided.
• Third-party cookies: Sent to the user’s device from a domain not managed by the website owner, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies.

If cookies are installed from a domain managed by the website owner but the information collected is managed by a third party, they cannot be considered first-party cookies.

There is also a second classification based on how long cookies remain stored in the user’s browser:

• Session cookies: Designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website. They are typically used to store information that is only relevant for providing a service requested by the user on a single occasion (e.g., a list of purchased products).
• Persistent cookies: Data remains stored on the device and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie owner, which may range from a few minutes to several years.

Finally, there is another classification based on the purpose of the data obtained:

• Technical cookies: Allow the user to navigate through a website, platform, or application and use the different options or services available, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering the items in an order, completing a purchase process, registering for or participating in an event, using security elements during navigation, storing content for video or audio broadcasting, or sharing content via social networks.
• Customization cookies: Allow the user to access the service with predefined general characteristics based on criteria such as language, browser type, or regional configuration.
• Analytics cookies: Allow the website owner to monitor and analyze user behavior on the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure website, application, or platform activity and to create user browsing profiles in order to introduce improvements based on usage data analysis.
• Advertising cookies: Allow the management, in the most efficient way possible, of advertising spaces.
• Behavioral advertising cookies: Store information about user behavior obtained through continuous observation of browsing habits, allowing the development of a specific profile to display advertising based on it.
• External social media cookies: Allow visitors to interact with content from different social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and are generated solely for users of those social networks. The conditions for using these cookies and the information collected are governed by the privacy policy of the corresponding social platform.
